Hawaii Tourism reaping the benefits of the movie industry

Donar suport als emprenedors de la indústria del cinema i els mitjans és una part important de la construcció d'un sector d'innovació creativa que generi oportunitats de treball i doni suport al turisme on es crea i es produeix la pel·lícula.

Award-winning Hawaii filmmaker Vilsoni (“Vili”) Hereniko is teaming up with Australian producer Trish Lake (“Early Winter”), and New Zealand producer Catherine Fitzgerald (“The Orator”) to coproduce “Until the Dolphin Flies.” Production of the motion picture will begin in early 2018.

With a cast and crew that will stay within the islands as filming takes place, Hawaii’s tourism industry will also benefit when they dine out, stay in hotels, rent cars, and take tours.

And there’s the indirect benefit of having the islands of Hawaii forever captured as the backdrop for the film.
